| Grape Conserve I 4 lbs. Stemmed Concord grapes 8 cups sugar 3 medium oranges
2 lemons 2 cups walnuts
Wash grapes,
Pinch the grapes to separate skins from pulp.
Cook pulp until soft.
Sieve to remove seeds. A
colander or strainer will also suffice.
Add skins, then stir in
sugar, Juice ,oranges, and lemons.
Thinly slice peels, cover with cold water, heat to a boil
Drain and add to grape mixture with fruit juices.
Cook until thick, about 40 minutes. Add nuts.
Pour in hot sterilized jars. Seal at once.
