Chocolate Cherry tomatoes do not taste anything like chocolate, they are a pleasantly tangy tasting tomato with a hint of old fashioned tomatoey sweetness.

They answer to the name 'chocolate cherry' due to their resemblance to chocolate, the brick red and purplish undertones of the ripened chocolate cherry tomatoes is reminiscent of chocolate candy.

The Plants will grow as large as 6 ft high, but more commonly in the vicinity of 5 ft.

They are indeterminate and produce fruit until early Autumn. The tomatoes themselves are about 1 inch in diameter. They are crack resistant and produce in clusters of 6 - 8 tomatoes.

Under the proper conditions these little tyrants have been known to overtake surrounding crops so must be trained and spaced adequately.

Start seeds indoors 6 - 8 weeks before planting outdoors.
