Apple pie Cheese Cake with pecans and caramel

Cheesecake is a sweet dish that's Smooth and rich, heavy and easily swallowed. A good Cheesecake melts in your mouth and leaves you yearning for more.

Cheesecakes generally consist of several layers, the thickest layer being the soft creamy cheesy one followed by the flavoring such as raspberry, pumpkin, strawberry or as the case in this recipe - apple. Toppings generally consist of creams such as whipped cream and ice cream as well as syrups and garnishes such as nuts.


1 6 oz graham cracker pie crust

20 Oz. Apple Pie Filling - divided

1 8 oz. package cream cheese

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

3 eggs

1 20 oz bottle caramel syrup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Place pan with pie crust on baking sheet; pour 1/2 can of apple pie filling into crust and spread evenly.

Set aside.

With a mixer, beat together cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla until fluffy.

Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition; pour filling over apple layer.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until center is almost set. Let cool completely.Prior to serving, garnish with remaining apple pie filling, caramel syrup, .. toasted pecan halves around edges of pie.

Toast pecan halves in oven first, on a baking sheet at 375 degrees F for 3-5 minutes.
