Asparagus in Herb Sauce

Ingredients

1/2 dozen Asparagus Spears
4 tablespoons butter
1 clove Garlic - finely chopped
1 tablespoon Parsley - finely chopped
1 tablespoon Chives - finely chopped
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
Parmesan Cheese (optional)

Process

Drop washed, trimmed Asparagus into boiling water for 5-6 minutes.  Drain and keep warm.

Melt butter in small saucepan and saute Garlic.
Stir in remaining ingredients.

Arrange Asparagus on plates and pour the sauce over it.  Serve Parmesan separately.
