Fantastico Tomato

Fantastico is an early-maturing, very productive grape tomato. It is an F1 hybrid, which is the first filial offspring of different parent cultivars. It was bred by Pro-Veg Seeds and selected by AAS judges in 2014.

Some of its advantages include a Late Blight Tolerance and crack resistance which was proven out by AAS trials. Compact plant is suitable for containers, hanging baskets, or in confined spaces and small gardens. The fruit is borne in clusters towards the outside of the plant which is advantageous when harvesting.

Tomatoes are grape shaped, some would say baby plum and roughly 1/2 ounce each. A well maintained healthy plant can be expected to produce 10 - 12 lbs of tomatoes. Although it is classified as 'non-staking' Plant, supports such as a cage are advisable as this cultivar has a tendency to sprawl and at times topple when overladen with fruit.

Determinate - determinate tomatoes produce the bulk of their tomatoes all at once. See: https://luv2garden.com/determinate-indet-tomatoes.htm
