A Mexican Heirloom that starting appearing North of the Border circa 1994. It was originally introduced as 'Miel du Mexique ' but marketing eventually lead the name to be 'Mexican Honey'.
The honey moniker suits it well as it is a very sweet cherry variety, some claim it is the Worlds Sweetest Tomato. In addition to its taste appeal it produces abundantly under the proper conditions.
Being a Mexican Native it is accustomed to warm sunny weather and does best south of zone 3.
Start seeds indoors 6 - 8 weeks before planting outdoors.
Maturity at 70 - 75 days from transplant.
Germination 6 - 10 days.
